 Hi everyone!  We moved up to Brainerd and have been unloading boxes, painting walls, etc.  I know it's been awhile since I last posted.  We're loving it up here - only 5 minutes from our grandchildren!  Here's a few newer ones I've been working on.

First snow of the season

It went straight from Summer to Winter!  Thank goodness my husband finished staining and painting the house!  I'll post pictures later.  It was a labor of love - it took all summer and all of fall.  It looks beautiful though.  I have some more art that I've done.

 

Boutiques and shows are in full swing now!  I am BUSY!!!  Next show is at Majestic Oaks Boutique in Ham Lake at the Golf Course. Starts Wednesday, November 1.  More info later.  that's all for now!  xoxo, LaurieJeanne

record breaking days

Hi everyone!  we've had some record breaking weather lately and it feels glorious!  All our snow is gone!  You can just smell SPRING in the air!  I've been painting and trying out new mediums - watercolor and colored pencils -  lately in my art.  It makes for a more free flowing, light look which I love.  I still love my acrylics and beeswax mixed media though!  I have a few new ones for you!

AUGUST SHOW AND NEW ART

THE AUGUST SHOW WAS A SUCCESS!  Sunny has merged with The Gourmet Network making for a fantastic sales group!  S-o-o-o over the top excited about their new venture!  I have some new art to share with you.

IT'S A LOVELY DAY !!! NEW ART

 

 

I've been working on my little hedgehogs and critters for the March wholesale show at the Mpls Mart.  If you have a store, come visit me as I'll be there all day every day.  My showroom is Sunny's, G446.  Sunny is my sales rep, and she has 10 other awesome lines for home décor and gifts.  If you're looking for those cool Edison bulbs - we have them!  The show runs this Friday through Tuesday.   Here's a sneak peek at what I'll be introducing:

IS IT MARCH ALREADY??!!

Hi everyone,  Been busy getting ready for my next wholesale show at the Mpls. Gift Mart.  My art prints are now available on canvas panels with darling torn fabric bow hangers!  The shows are great fun, meeting store owners and writing up orders!  Here is a picture from the January show:

It's been a long time...

HELLO AGAIN!!!

wow - I hadn't realized how long it's been since I last posted.  It's been a busy time.  The boutique season is upon us and I am in quite a few.  The Chickadee Boutique - in Shoreview -  which is going on now through Sunday, December 7.  www.chickadeeboutique.com and on facebook.  This fantastic boutique is in it's 35th year.  It is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and the FIRST Sunday of each month.  I have a lot of original and unusual items here.  I'm restocking tomorrow so I'll take pics and post them.  I'm also doing a one day show at Servant of Christ Lutheran Church in Champlin this Saturday November 1, from 9:00 - 2:00 in conjunction with their annual Scandinavian Tea.

More boutiques to come which I'll post soon.  Meanwhile, here is some new artwork I've been working on.

SOME NEW ART FOR WHOLESALE SHOW

I've been very busy designing new artwork for my big wholesale show coming up in August.  This also means I need to have designs for Christmas!  I'm giving a sneak preview of a few of my newest ones!

collage work before I started incorporating more of my painting. 



 

I hope to post pics of my gardens.  I need to get a new camera though.  My strawberries are coming in better than last year, but the blueberries aren't.  I need to get out there and WEED - I've been too busy painting!  that's all for now, xoxo lauriejeanne

NEW ART

    I LOVE THIS WEATHER!  My computer is right next to a window so I can feel the warm breezes come through as I work and look out over the pond and nature.  When my grandchildren were down over Mother's Day, they picked out all my flowers and did some planting for me and it all looks great! 
    I am getting my fall line ready.  I am SO excited, I have a booth at the Mpls Mart temporary wholesale show in August!!!!!  I am now repping myself, so Jerry and I will also "go on the road" over the summer also.  I will have a ton of new designs, new palette, AND now in FRAMES!  From 3.5"x 5" to 11"x14" and in various styles and finishes.

Mother's Day

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day.  I sure did.  My daughter and 4 grandchildren came down for the weekend on Friday.  Then on Saturday, we celebrated early with my Mom and family with the first cookout of the year.  Then my 2 older granddaughters and I did art projects.  They made these as a 12x12 entirely on their own which I then scanned and resized into magnets.  I think they turned out pretty awesome!
